This class satisfies Virginia requirement for application for the Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.
Instruction with +P Firearms Instructors Kim and Gabby beginning in the classroom with basic firearms safety and the fundamentals of pistol shooting. Some review of the Virginia Code and a concealment option demonstration (time permitting). Students are encouraged to ask questions and share related experiences during the training.
Upon completion of the classroom theory all students will move onto the live range to demonstrate their firearms safety skills (the fun part…shooting a pistol). You must provide your own safety equipment. Please bring your handgun if you own one. If you do not own a firearm a .22 caliber handgun will be available for your use. Students must purchase ammunition at the range if using the range pistol. There are no higher caliber rental handguns available for use at the class. Safety equipment and ammunition are available for purchase at Superior.
